LOL. It’s been a while since I last posted anything in this blog. Lots of things had happened but I’m too lazy to blog them out. Guess I’ll never change, huh? But today I wanna make a special entry about my birthday and maybe list down some of my wishes/resolutions.

First, let’s take a look at my 2009 New Year Resolutions:

1. Be a better person; Muslim, son, brother and friend :blush:
2. Quit my bad habits; especially those two :hehe:
3. Excel in everything that I do; student, football and futsal goalkeeper and photographer :peace:
4. Find “The CSI” :w

Well, obviously I’m still working on #1. I believe it’s gonna be in my resolutions every single year. Huhu. I’m working hard on #2 too. Didn’t manage to quit those two of my nastiest habits yet. Didn’t see any improvement too. LOL.

#3, am not a student anymore. Got some problems with MARA. Missed enrolment to University of Liverpool last year and University of Adelaide this year. Gave up on furthering my studies already, and am looking for a job right now. Gave up on goalkeeping too after being suspected to have prolapsed intervertebral disc.

The only thing left with me now is photography, and even so, there are still a lot for me to learn. Tried my best to improve myself in every aspects and managed to tag along some friends/sifoos (marushin and zahack from Clairvoyant Pixel in a smart-partnership session with vandechrome from MNK Creative) on a wedding job last week. It was a whole new experience for me as I’m still new in using flash (except for macro) and taking photos of human (except in sports/actions).

It’s been almost half a year since I bought my first DSLR. Even I’m not that pro yet, I do feel the need for upgrades, especially for the noise control (for shooting gigs/shows/livebands in low light condition) and higher FPS (for shooting sports/actions). Therefore, for my birthday this year, I’ve got myself a new (used actually) camera body (the deal is so great that I got myself the vertical grip as well) and a flash (I just can’t resist the Cobra’s poison).

Hope with this new photogears of mine will help me in every single way to become a better photographer. Now I should stop buying and go out shooting more and more to improve myself. Till then..
