i already have a backpack which can fit almost all of my gears. but then it’s kinda huge and it’s not really suitable to bring such a big backpack everywhere i go. sometimes i just wanna bring a body and a lens, or maybe a flash for a walk-around. so i decided to get myself a simple sling bag, or maybe a beltpack, or both. lol.

initially, i was aiming for this Inverse 200 AW and yes, the green colored one. but i can’t find anyone selling a used one. brand new would cost me around RM330. a friend of mine bought a used one fro RM250, but that one he bought from his cousin la, not sure can get the same price outside.

so, i tried my luck by posting a [wtb] in LYN and alphanatics. got a few PMs offering me, not this Inverse 200, but a Sony version of it, in which have the same design and size, but the quality might be a bit low. well, it’s a look-alike, not the real thing. the prices that i was offered ranging from RM190 up to RM300. lol.

i asked my friends who have the Sony version beltpack, got a few good reviews and also some bad ones. the size and padding is okay, but the strap might not be too firm. while doing my homework, a friend of mine who recently jumped to another ship gave me an offer that’s quite hard for me to say no to. lol.

finally i decided to go with the Sony version. met him during lunch today and hey, the beltpack doesn’t look too bad. i believe i have a good deal here. i just can’t wait to test this beltpack out.

so, here’s one of the things that i can scratch-off my wishlist. what’s next?
